I hate toilet paper roll crafts, but here are some other Halloween crafts for you

It’s true, people. I hate toilet paper roll crafts. I would rather you just inject E.coli directly into my bloodstream. I guess kids like them or whatever. I’ve seen some using paper towel rolls. Those are fine. Cut those up. Toilet paper rolls just CREEP ME OUT. I keep imagining all the bathroom germs crawling around being all poopy. I’m mysophobic. I can’t deal. Anyway, enough about my crippling mental disorder. The latch-key kid inside of me still loves a good household item craft, so I’m going to show you some Halloween projects you can make with items that don’t live in your bathroom.

Remember my snowflake tutorial? Make some paper Jack-o-lanterns in the same way

If you insist on using items commonly found in bathrooms, how about grabbing a box of tampons and making some ghosts and bats?

  1. Ha. Love the title. It definitely made me smile. And I completely agree. The ghost tampons cracked me up too, “if you insist on using items commonly find in the bathroom, how about grabbing a box of tampons.” Great line and they do surprisingly look like ghosts.

  2. I agree, toilet paper rolls seem Germy to me too and I don’t have a phobia. I love the tampon ideas. I only have them on hand if aunt flow is visiting when I want to go swimming. It’s October in Illinois so I won’t need one again for at least 7 months, so why not make use of an item that is just taking up space. Thanks for the easy craft idea.
